Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd brought aboard as a guest panelist, Marvin Kalb, a one-time host of the same show, to tout Kalb’s new book which claims “parallels” between the McCarthy era and now “are powerful and disturbing” with the commonality of “spineless Republicans cowering before” Joe McCarthy and Donald Trump.
Todd introduced the final panel segment on the September 23 Meet the Press:

The parallels are powerful and disturbing.’”
