Despite April 6 being the day that the Ted Kennedy film Chappaquiddick debuts, the topic of his great uncle abandoning a drowning woman never came up. Yet the two discussed “ChapStick-gate.” King, a Democratic donor, allowed the liberal Congressman to push for gun control and mock: “And to have these absurd conversations about arming teachers and turning our schools into fortresses...” King murmured, “You do feel that’s absurd?” Not exactly a tough follow-up.
