CBS on Sunday morning promoted the presidential ambitions of Stacey Abrams, as Erin Moriarty championed how Abrams “has always dreamed big and accomplished much,” describing her as “a woman of many talents and identities.”
In a segment tied to plugging a new novel by Abrams, Moriarty cued her up: “Your main character is always a woman of color who’s smart and gutsy and cool under pressure. In short, Stacey Abrams”
After hailing her efforts to counter Republican voter integrity rules, Moriarty celebrated how “ensuring that right to vote may some day help Abrams achieve her greatest dream: Running for president.” She ended by sycophantically asking: “How do you have any time for a personal life?” When Abrams listed her activities, Moriarty gushed: “You’re making my point for me. You’re making my point!”
