CBS Gushes Over 2020 Dem’s Free Money Scheme: ‘A Thousand a Month Is a Good Policy’

[See NewsBusters for more.] CBS This Morning co-host Tony Dokoupil on Wednesday just came out and endorsed 2020 Democrat Andrew Yang’s plan to just simply give away cash money, should he be elected President. Dokoupil called the scheme a “good policy” as co-host Anthony Mason gushed, “It’s pretty attractive.” Where the money would come from and how much it would cost wasn’t discussed. Mason interviewed Yang and mostly focused on horse race questions, offering softball questions like this one: “You think you can beat Joe Biden?” However, after the interview, Mason repeated talking points: “But he’s saying the problem isn’t immigration, it’s automation. He is the candidate offering a thousand dollars a month a freedom dividend he calls it, to everybody in the country, essentially.”
