Appearing on CNN Newsroom with Anderson Cooper, he described how his insider sources were appalled at Trump's slowness, but on the record statements tell a different story.
Cooper led Bernstein with the assertion, "Insiders say it has taken a lot to get the president to openly express concern about the likely impact of the outbreak, the health concern of the impact of the outbreak in the U.S."
