Blinken: ‘Beijing Apparently Helped to Write’ Purportedly Independent Report on Wuhan Virus Origin

As the World Health Organization (WHO) prepares to release a report of a study into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, Secretary of State Antony Blinken saying the U.S. has “real concerns about the methodology and the process that went into that report, including the fact that the government in Beijing apparently helped to write it.” Amid growing skepticism, others are questioning the independence of the Wuhan probe, which all but discounted the lab-leak theory of the outbreak.
