Defending himself against accusations that Russian President Vladimir Putin is challenging American leadership, President Obama during a CBS “60 Minutes” interview said mistakenly that when he took office Ukraine was ruled by a Putin “stooge.” But the man he was referring to only became president in Kiev a year after Obama.
