Woman Arrested For DUI After Driving With a Tree Stuck In Her Car’s Grill

When people didn’t believe their story, the police department of Roselle, Illinois released dash-cam footage showing a woman being pulled over while driving at night with a 15-foot tree protruding from her vehicle’s front bumper.

Roselle police explained the incident in a Facebook post last Friday, explaining that they pulled the driver over when an officer saw the damaged vehicle and found the airbags had been deployed, presumably from hitting the tree lodged squarely in the car’s grill. 

Upon further investigation, the officer found the driver to be driving under the influence of alcohol and promptly arrested her

“Yet another reason why you should not drink and drive,” said one Facebook post.
