An armed Florida woman who confronted her husband over an alleged affair did a considerable amount more damage than she may have intended when she shot her husband in the testicles.
Victoria Reid, 60, reportedly threatened to shoot her husband in the head and chest to kill him while they argued. She demanded he sit on the couch and told him that she was going to maim him and give him post-traumatic stress disorder, which deputies say she also suffers.
Reid eventually thought to shoot her husband in the knee, but the bullet didn’t stop there. While he sat on that couch, the man had a bullet tear through his thigh and lodge itself in his testicles.
Reid was arrested and is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, and aggravated assault domestic violence. Her bail is set at $35,000.
There has been no word on the condition of Reid’s husband.
