“Woke” culture is for people that can’t understand or handle reality. It’s like leftist activists want rational thinking people to think they’re out of their minds, because to make someone who just wants men to be responsible men and tap their full potential as a villain makes the activist painting said person like that look petty and beneath the intellectual level of their target.
Activist and comic book writer Ta-Nehisi Coates seems to be trying to fit that description.
Coates authored an issue of the “Captain America” comic book series and apparently made one of the all-time villains in the series, “Red Skull,” mirror the messaging of Dr. Jordan Peterson.
Yep, that’s right. Despite never mentioning Peterson by name in the book, Coates wanted his readers to think that people like Peterson are the villains in the comic book of life, as evidenced by having “Red Skull,” who is literally a Nazi by the way, convey his “Ten Rules For Life.”
Peterson is the author of the wildly popular book, “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos.”
Peterson was made aware of the comparison after conversing on Twitter with followers about how left-leaning publication The Atlantic wholeheartedly developed an “insanely bullying and self-righteous culture.”
Another user pointed out that Coates made the “Red Skull” character pose eerily similar messages to Peterson.
Peterson couldn’t believe the comparison to such an evil villain, especially when Peterson’s whole mission is for people to improve themselves.
As someone who has been a low-level comic collector over the years, “woke” activism has been inserting itself into storylines in an ever-increasing fashion, particularly over the past few years. Whenever I’m in a comic book store and I see that Coates is the author, I leave that book on the shelf.
“Captain America” should be proud that there are people like Peterson out there to help others when those people seek life advice. Coates on the other hand, especially in this case, seems to be the real villain.
