Woke Spotify Employees Reportedly Want 'Transphobic' Episode of Joe Rogan's Podcast Removed from Platform, Vice Says

Is it just me or are “woke” people really annoying? Always crying about a manufactured problem that — sometimes — doesn’t even affect them in order to score some sort of imaginary virtue points. That’s how good we have it, or had it, in this country. People live so well in the U.S. that they need to fake outrage about problems that they never seem to have any answers for…ever. It’s also really funny how they never get outraged until it’s politically expedient for them.

The “woke” mafia masquerading as employees at Spotify are up in arms over CEO Daniel Elk’s weak defense of keeping certain past episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast because they feel said episodes are “transphobic, according to a report from left-leaning outlet Vice.

Vice reported:

Some staff inside the company feel alienated by Spotify's hosting of certain The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) episodes, according to copies of some of the questions presented to the meeting obtained by Motherboard. The news signals how Spotify, as it moves into the podcasting space beyond music, is facing content moderation decisions more commonly associated with social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Spotify has already removed JRE episodes with some right-wing figures, including Alex Jones and Gavin McInnes.

Some censorship is never enough for the far-left “woke” mafia. They fascistically want anything and everything gone that doesn’t fall in line with their radical ideology.

“Why has Spotify chosen to ignore Spectrum ERG's guidance about transphobic content in the JRE catalog?” one employee reportedly asked, referring to an “internal employee-representation group.”

Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe because people can decide for themselves whether to listen or watch something? It’s called free will, morons. Nobody asked the employees of Spotify, Facebook, Twitter or any other well-scrubbed online forum to curate what they believe people should or shouldn’t be listening to, reading or watching.

“Others have concerns specifically over a recent episode," Ek said. "And Joe Rogan and the episode in question have been reviewed extensively. The fact that we aren't changing our position doesn't mean we aren't listening. It just means we made a different judgment call.”

The employees are apparently referring to an episode of Rogan’s podcast from July in which he and his guest, author Abigail Shrier, debate the merits of equating any correlation between transgenderism and autism.

The point here isn’t what was said on Rogan’s podcast. The point is the audacity of “woke” Spotify employees thinking they can tell those in charge how to run their company, while also dictating to everyone else what information or type of conversation they’re allowed to digest.

As for Ek’s response, it was probably as politically correct as it could be without telling the employees that they’re being ridiculous.

It’s also funny how these same employees were silent about this specific Rogan episode when it first aired back in July. But now that Rogan’s name has been pushed as one that many people would like to see host a presidential debate, now they’re upset about it.

While the employees are crying about something that already happened, which they weren't upset about initially, Rogan is laughing all the way to bank with the up to nine-figure deal he made with Spotify in May.

Quit your crying, and get over yourselves. People are tired of listening to your made-up problems, and being able to listen to an episode of a podcast that promotes open-dialogue isn’t one of them.
