Delicious irony. Elected as part of the “white supremacist” Youngkin campaign, a black woman will be Virginia's next lieutenant governor.
Winsome Sears, Virginia’s “first woman of color to hold a statewide office in Virginia” – as the Washington Post put it – clinched victory on November 3, alongside her fellow Republican candidates, Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin and VA Attorney-General elect Jason Miyares, the first ever Latino elected to the office.
Should be a big night for people obsessed with color, right? Nope. The Republican victory was still somehow a manifestation of “White supremacy.” As victory for Youngkin’s coalition materialized, leftwing nut Jemele Hill tweeted, “It’s not the messaging, folks. This country simply loves white supremacy.”

Lefty podcast host Kimberly Johnson tweeted, “White supremacy is so ugly and watching so many white people defend it, fight for it, or just accept it because they don't feel personally affected by it makes my stomach churn.” Rutgers Associate Professor Brittney Cooper tweeted, “White supremacy is indefatigable. That truth is both personal and political this week. Long way of saying I’m tired,” after it was clear Republicans would win Virginia.

And the culture critic for outlet The Undefeated, Sonya McDonald, added to the BS with her tweet. “White supremacy got that ultimate snapback,” she wrote. Oh did it?
How can this be the ugly head of white supremacy, when the state’s incoming second-in-command “was born in Jamaica and is Black?” Well that’s just how desperate Dems have been about this Virginia race and probably a big part of the reason they lost.
Winsome Sears even leaned into the diversity image she and her family presented during her charismatic and gracious acceptance speech in Chantilly, Virginia on the night of her victory. After she introduced her husband and two daughters to her supporters, Sears declared, “I’m telling you that what you are looking at is the American Dream.”
And as an apparent jab to the crazy leftist critics, Sears added, “In case you haven’t noticed, I am Black and I’ve been Black all of my life.”
The Lt. Governor-elect also mentioned her commitment to “fully fund historically Black colleges and universities, or HBCUs” in the state, as the Post reported.

No offense to the intellectual leftist giants that we mentioned above, but isn’t that the opposite of what a white supremacist would do?
FreeBeacon Executive Editor Brent Scher wondered why a diversity-obsessed media wouldn’t be having a ball for Virginia’s first ever black woman Lt. Governor.
He tweeted the question, “Shouldn't media be all over a black woman who immigrated from Jamaica, served in the Marines, has a Masters degree, ran a homeless women's shelter, raised 3 kids, and is now running to be the highest ranking minority woman gov't official in Virginia history?”

Though we all know they would never in a million years praise a conservative African American who just helped oust the McAuliffe coalition. In that regard the left, not Youngkin, are the supremacists here.
