Planned Parenthood’s wanton disregard for either human life or the need to get a mother’s consent to sell her aborted baby’s parts are revealed by a whistleblower in the latest Center for Medical Progress (CMP) undercover video.
In the sixth CMP video, Whistleblower Holly O’Donnell describes how the Planned Parenthood clinic she worked in has little regard for patient consent when harvesting aborted baby parts – and, in some cases, did not even care whether or not they followed the law and got the mother’s consent.
O’Donnell says the StemExpress techs working in Planned Parenthood clinics sometimes harvested fetal parts without obtaining consent from the patients:
“If there was a higher gestation, and the technicians needed it, there were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
Federal laws on the procurement and use of human fetal tissue require that patients consent to the tissue donation subsequent to consenting to the abortion procedure (42 U.S.C. 289g-1).
In one instance, O'Donnell recounts how a woman refused to give consent, but a technician harvested her baby's organs, anyway. "Girls throwing up in trash cans" from the abortion medicines they're given are pressured for consent, O'Donnell explains.
She also confesses the shame she felt shipping the aborted baby body parts off by Federal Express when people would ask her what's in the box and she didn’t want to tell them the contents were “dead baby body parts.”
Holly goes on to explain how Planned Parenthood and its associates are in the business of using women as factories to produce baby body parts specimens they can harvest and sell.
O’Donnell is a former Blood and Tissue Procurement Technician for StemExpress, a start-up biotech company from northern California that partners with Planned Parenthood clinics to purchase their aborted fetus parts and resell them for scientific experimentation. As a procurement tech, O’Donnell’s job was to identify pregnant patients matching the specifications of StemExpress customers and to harvest the fetal body parts from their abortions.
“It’s not an option, it’s a demand,” O’Donnell says StemExpress supervisors instructed her about approaching pregnant women at Planned Parenthood for fetal tissue “donations.”
