Protestors with signs saying “Abolish ICE” and “No More Deportations” filled New York City’s Grand Central Terminal Thursday evening.
Fox News reports, Rise and Resist NYC, organized the hour-long event. The group formed in response to the election of Donald Trump in 2016.
In clips from Rise and Resist’s their own video (posted above) people can be seen holding Planned Parenthood signs that say “Together We Fight For All” and other signs that say “Close The Camps.”
An unidentified person recording the video states “There’s no crisis at the border, there is no crime at the border - other than the US immigration policy and the crimes being committed by the Trump administration. We will continue to fight for immigration justice until every migrant every refugee and every asylum seeker has been freed.”
A smaller group of counter-protesters, some carrying "Trump 2020" banners and "Keep America Great" posters, stood nearby, according to Fox News.
