The California Assembly passed a resolution on Thursday declaring it a “Reproductive Freedom State For All,” and the measure’s sponsor lauded that “it’s a statement of values.”
Sponsor, Buffy Wicks (Oakland –D) took to the floor in Sacramento:
This resolution is about values. It's a statement of values. It's about our principles. By declaring California a reproductive freedom state for all, ACR 110 will reaffirm our state's commitment to guaranteeing the constitutionally protected right to an abortion.
