President Donald Trump called Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein and personally comforted him following the tragic terror attack that happened at his synagogue.

The attack on the Chabad of Poway synagogue in California on Saturday left one dead and three others injured. Goldstein told reporters about Trump’s call on Sunday– but it was left out of many newscasts.

“He shared with me condolences on behalf of the United States of America,” Goldstein said. “And we spoke about the moment of silence. And he spoke about his love of peace and Judaism and Israel and he was just so comforting that I’m really grateful to our president for taking the time and making that effort to share with us his comfort and consolation.”
