Socialist President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, finally admitted to himself that the economic policies of his United Socialist Party of Venezuela, or PSUV, have “failed.”
"The production models we've tried so far have failed and the responsibility is ours, mine and yours," he told the PSUV majority in their Congress.
"Enough with the whining... we need to produce with or without (outside) aggression, with or without blockades, we need to make Venezuela an economic power," he continued. "No more whining, I want solutions comrades!"
In the past, President Maduro has typically blamed the United States and Washington, particularly the CIA, for the economic hardships in Venezuela, but as Forbes states, “The country faces a massive brain drain, with middle-class people leaving in droves to Madrid and Miami.”
The realization probably came after a huge energy outage that affected about 80 percent of the Venezuelan capital of Caracas. Once the outage was resolved, Marudo said he was planning on changing their gasoline policy.
“I’m committed and with a new national hydrocarbon policy we’ll have enough money, cash, in this country to invest in everything our people need,” Maduro said. “We’ll have money to spare.”
This is in addition to Maduro’s plan to “stabilize and change the country’s monetary life in a radical way” and boost the value of Venezuelan currency by axing five zeros off the refurbished bolívar.
As MRCTV previously reported, the IMF founded the inflation of the Venezuelan bolívar would likely hit 1 million percent this year and Maduro said himself that Venezuela was in an “economic war.”
