In this week’s Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression:
Remember how for two years “undisclosed sources” told the leftist media about all the Trump/Russian collusion evidence that existed? Except it didn’t exist. Well, at least one undisclosed source made it’s way back to MSNBC. Host Lawrence O’Donnell claimed President Trump’s loan from Deutsche Bank was allegedly co-signed by Russian oligarchs. It was a scoop that had to be retracted less than 24 hours after it’s utterance.
On Wednesday, NBC reporter Ken Dilanian incorrectly asserted that under new Trump regulations “children born to U.S. service members outside of the U.S. will no longer be automatically considered citizens.” That was retracted about an hour later, once he linked his tweet to the government website as a source. Amazing what those “named sources” can provide.
Of course the NBC’s correction was a little late in making its way over to CNN.
In a truly disgusting display of partisanship during CNN’s Erin Burnett Out Front Thursday, former Obama administration official (who's now passed off as a journalist), Jim Sciutto allowed Democratic strategist Maria Cardona to claim President Trump was responsible for the 3,000 Puerto Ricans who died in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Mainly because of…racism, of course.
This week MSNBC host Joy Reid bizarrely suggested that the media have been too soft on President Donald Trump! She even likened coverage of him to treatment of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s as she lumped both together as "white conservatives."
