In this weeks' Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression, liberal cable news outlets evidently have drawn their own conclusions after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations – and it will all end in “impeachment.”
On Wednesday, CNN and MSNBC reporters, anchors, and contributors used the "I- word" 222 times in 18 hours. In their rush to discuss this possibility – they sometimes got the process wrong. Like on the MSNBC segment “How Impeachment Works.” The segment was not only factually incorrect the first day it aired; it was factually incorrect when they decided to redo the segment again the next day.
Some facts eventually got the attention of the liberal media later in the week, so they ignored them. When authorities arrested an illegal alien in connection to the murder of Mollie Tibbetts, the headline grabbing tragedy quickly dropped from the medias' focus.
The liberal media devotedtime to sympathetically hyping the case of an illegal immigrant in Los Angeles who was arrested by ICE agents while driving his pregnant wife to the hospital to give birth, and highlighted her claims that her husband had no criminal record. But when it was revealed the suspect was arrested because he is suspected of homicide in Mexico, their interest in coverage suddenly waned.
