VIDEO: Students Sign Petition to Increase the Minimum Wage to $50 AN HOUR!

Today is tax day, but it's also the day that groups in favor of raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour have chosen to stage massive rallies across the country. While many economists, the CBO  and even some in the liberal media agree that doubling the minimum wage would lead to catastrophic job losses among the very people it's intended to help, wage cuts and higher prices for consumers,those in favor of this steep increase in hourly wages deny this basic economic fact.  

Okay.  So if raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour will have no negative economic impact, then why stop there.  Why not raise it to...say...$50 an hour? Nah!  No one would ever be dumb enough to support something that economically destructive. Wanna' bet?

MRCTV traveled to George Mason University in Northern Virginia to see if we could get students to sign a petition to call on Congress to raise the minimum wage to $50 an hour (about $104,000 a year).  Here's what happened:
