VIDEO: Phone Hurled At Stage As Trump Walks Out for NRA Speech

A video now going viral shows what appears to be a phone being hurled at the main stage of the National Rifle Association’s annual conference on Friday as President Trump assumed the podium to deliver his remarks.

Fox News reports,

The video, taken by attendee Bradley Brewer, shows the object being launched into the air and landing on the stage to Trump’s left as he walked on to the stage. The speech took place in Indianapolis.

The person believed to have thrown the object was removed from the event, according to attendees.

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich tweeted that the object was a cell phone and that the man suspected of throwing it “hung around up front for a few minutes” after, “carrying Mt. Dew.”

President Trump went on to deliver his speech without a hitch, but did certainly appear to notice the object flying onto the stage.

Secret Service has yet to release a statement about the incident.

This story is developing.
