To mail-in vote, or not to mail-in vote, that is the question. Although tis nobler to get off thy duff and vote in person, leftists doth protest too much whilst under the guise of false pretense of caring for others. Okay, enough Shakespeare. You get the point. While the politicians make pretty speeches, more stories about the validity — or lack thereof — of mail-in voting appear before our very eyes.

Late last Friday — when no one was paying attention — The Washington Post (WaPo) reported that the United States Postal Service (USPS) sent “detailed letters to 46 states and D.C.” with a warning that it can’t guarantee on-time delivery of mail-in ballots for the upcoming November election.

According to WaPo:

The Postal Service’s warnings of potential disenfranchisement came as the agency undergoes a sweeping organizational and policy overhaul amid dire financial conditions. Cost-cutting moves have already delayed mail delivery by as much as a week in some places, and a new decision to decommission 10 percent of the Postal Service’s sorting machines sparked widespread concern the slowdowns will only worsen. Rank-and-file postal workers say the move is ill-timed and could sharply diminish the speedy processing of flat mail, including letters and ballots.

The ballot warnings, issued at the end of July from Thomas J. Marshall, general counsel and executive vice president of the Postal Service, and obtained through a records request by The Washington Post, were planned before the appointment of Louis DeJoy, a former logistics executive and ally of President [Donald] Trump, as postmaster general in early summer. They go beyond the traditional coordination between the Postal Service and election officials, drafted as fears surrounding the coronavirus pandemic triggered an unprecedented and sudden shift to mail-in voting.

If that explanation wasn’t enough, USPS spokeswoman Martha Johnson made an ask of election officials in a statement.

“The Postal Service is asking election officials and voters to realistically consider how the mail works,” Johnson reportedly said.

“Realistically” is the key word that leftists never really seem to have a grasp on when attempting to employ their tactics, which has just devolved to whatever the opposite of what Trump and his administration say and do. Their agenda may seem like a good idea to them, but it’s not typically rooted in any form of reality.

Absentee ballots have even been under fire recently as 846 primary ballots were rejected in Michigan “because the voter was dead.”
