Umm...Nadler Claims Trump Abused His Power To Spread 'Russian Conspiracy Theories?'

During his opening remarks on day three of the Senate Impeachment trial of President Donald Trump on Thursday, House impeachment manager Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) made a statement that might make even the most ardent Trump-hater scratch their head in confusion.

Following the playing of a clip from Stanford Law School professor Pamela Karlan’s December impeachment inquiry testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee, Nadler began taking shots at Trump, while seemingly asserting that the president abused his power, in part, to push a “Russian conspiracy theory.”

Check out the video below for full context of Nadler’s comments:

Umm…..okay. About that. Never mind the fact that the Mueller Report exonerated Trump of the leftist conspiracy theory that the president colluded to with Russia in order to influence the 2016 election. Just forget that ever happened. Nadler seem to have forgotten, so why can’t all of you?

Just in case you’re interested, here’s a transcript of what Nadler said following Karlan’s clip being played:

Professor Karlan is right. Elections matter. They make our government legitimate, and they protect our freedom. A president who abuses his power in order to kneecap political opponents and spread Russian conspiracy theories, a president who uses his office to ask for — or even worse, to compel foreign nations to meddle in our elections — is a president who attacks the very foundation of our liberty. That is a grave abuse of power. It is an unprecedented betrayal of the national interest. It is a shocking corruption of the election process. And it is, without doubt, a crime against the Constitution warranting — demanding — removal from office.

Just wow. There are no words for the projection going on here.
