Twitter is reportedly considering “labeling” Trump’s tweets that they say violate their rules, but need to stay up because they’re part of public record.
During an on-stage talk with The Washington Post Wednesday, Vijaya Gadde, Twitter's head of legal, policy and trust, was asked how the company plans to handle tweets from Trump that allegedly “violate [Twitter’s] rules against bullying, dehumanization and threatening harm,” according to CNN.
In response, the Twitter spokesperson said the platform has considered somehow “labeling” the tweets as being in violation of their rules, but that they've left up because they’re important for public discourse.

Gadde didn’t say exactly what such “labeling” would include, how it would determine what should be labeled, or when the company plans to implement the new system.
