Turns Out Maxine Waters Attended a Louis Farrakhan Speech Praising Terrorists

Imagine if video footage emerged of Donald Trump attending a KKK-sponsored cross burning where hooded dudes in white bed sheets gave speeches about how lynching blacks was a perfectly acceptable response to race mixing.

The justifiable outrage would be deafening.

Now imagine if a Democratic lawmaker attended an Islamic event where a known terrorist sympathizer waxed poetic about Palestinian suicide bombers’ right to blow up innocent Jews.

And cue the crickets.

It turns out Maxine Waters, the unhinged congresswoman from California best known for fitting her entire foot into her mouth and keeping it there, attended a Nation of Islam convention in 2002, during which Louis Farrakhan praised suicide bombers for killing Israelis.

From the Daily Caller, who dug up the video:

“We have Maxine Waters here,” Farrakhan told the convention audience, gesturing to the seats behind him, “our great congresswoman from this area.” The audience cheered Waters’ name.

Later in his speech, Farrakhan excused Palestinian suicide bombers and defended Iran for arming Palestinian terrorists.

Farrakhan criticized the United States for providing Israel with planes and other weapons, which he indicated was to blame for Palestinian suicide bombers.

“The Palestinians have nothing to defend themselves with, so they’re so exhausted and exasperated, think about that, strapping bombs to themselves, making themselves a weapon,” Farrakhan said.

“And then for the world to get upset because Iran or somebody is trying to send them some weapons. Wait a minute. If you were Jewish and you saw unarmed Jews being persecuted, wouldn’t you come to your brothers’ aid? Do you expect Muslims to see their brothers suffering like that and not come to their aid?”

Afterward, Waters -- again, an elected official in charge of passing laws for our country -- hugged the terrorism-loving Farrakhan like they were best friends. Here's that special moment:

Other than hugging leftist politicians and taking chummy secret photos with former President Barack Obama, Farrakhan’s well-known for saying insane things, such as vowing that Allah will destroy America, praising Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, dubbing Hezbollah terrorists “freedom fighters,” and calling Adolf Hitler “a great man.”

It’s no wonder Waters’ office didn’t return the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
