President Trump trolled one of his most outspoken critics and Native American heritage beneficiary Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Thursday with a slogan for her potential 2020 presidential campaign:
"Warren 1/2020th."
The slogan was created by The Daily Wire, which Trump gave credit to within the image. The Daily Wire is also making a shirt out of it:
The mockery seemed to come out of nowhere but it was a clever dig, we'll give them that.
Warren released the results of a DNA test back in October. The DNA test results suggested Warren was between 1/64th and 1/1,024th Native American. She released the results in hopes that it would put to bed criticism over her claims of Native American ancestry.
It did just the opposite and a recent report by The New York Times claims that advisers close to the liberal Massachusetts senator “say she has privately expressed concern that she may have damaged her relationships to Native American groups and her own standing with activists, particularly those who are racial minorities.”
“Several outside advisers are even more worried,” The Times goes on. “They say they believe a plan should be made to repair that damage, possibly including a strong statement of apology.”
