Trump Supporting Dem Fires Back at MSNBC Host for Insulting Him: 'I Don't Fit Your Narrative'

“Rules for thee, but not for me.” Those words are the usual modus operandi of leftists and the radical media. So it should come as no surprise when a radical media outlet questions whether a black Democrat had to be paid in order to give his support of President Donald Trump. It’s insulting and an incredible double standard, but we should expect no less from the propaganda-pushing media.

Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones (D-91st District) appeared on MSNBC to talk about his support for Trump. It was as if MSNBC was putting Jones on display as if he were a unicorn.

The back and forth between Jones and MSNBC host Craig Melvin was contentious in the sense that the points Jones put forth as his reasons for supporting Trump were brushed aside by Melvin as “patently false,” even though Melvin didn’t rebut Jones with any form of the truth.

“I like to traffic in facts,” Melvin told Jones. “And much of what you just said is patently false.”

As Jones tried to get a word in, Melvin cut him off and essentially admonished him for daring interrupt an all-wise MSNBC host.

“Representative Jones, this is my show and I’ll ask questions,” Melvin continued. “Give me a second.”

“But you had me on your show, so let me explain,” Jones responded. “Don’t cut me off when I’m giving an answer.”

That’s when Melvin screwed up and basically called Jones a paid shill for Trump.

“Are you a paid campaign surrogate?” Melvin self-righteously asked. “Are you being compensated by [the Trump campaign]?”

Jones had about enough of being insulted at this point and decided to tell Melvin the truth about the radical media and their “narrative.”

Let me be clear. You get paid to shape a liberal narrative. You get paid to attack this president. I don’t get a dime from this president. I don’t get a dime from the campaign. Everything I’ve done is based on me and my principles. And see, that’s the problem. When an African-American that’s an elected official…[Melvin interrupting to say his question wasn’t race based] Let me finish. You don’t ask Stacey Abrams does she get paid by the left, so don’t ask me that. You only ask me that because I don’t fit your narrative. You know this president’s never offered me anything. I don’t want anything from this president. It’s what I can do for my country. And you need to accept that many other African-Americans and others support this president because of his policies. And to insult me to say, ‘Am I getting paid?’ That is disgraceful. That is appalling. That’s representative of MSNBC and their narrative to keep blacks silent that happen to support this president.
