President Donald Trump tweeted on Tuesday that he will announce his third Supreme Court nominee this Saturday.
I will be announcing my Supreme Court Nominee on Saturday, at the White House! Exact time TBA.

The president had previously told Fox News, “I think it will be on Friday or Saturday and we want to pay respect.”
Wednesday and Thursday of this week Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed at age 87, will lie in state at the Supreme Court.
Ginsburg’s funeral is expected to follow next week.
Trump’s tweet about Saturday’s announcement was quickly followed up to his reaction that Democratic VP nominee Kamala Harris is poised to lead her party’s opposition to the pick.
