When it comes to the impeachment proceedings, no matter which portion of it we’ve been at, President Donald Trump has been pretty confident that he’ll remain in office.

Trump posted a tweet with a video clip on Wednesday, and the president didn’t use very many words to explain his feelings on Democrats rabid call to get former National Security Adviser John Bolton to testify before the Senate.

The video was of an August 2019 interview of then-adviser Bolton speaking to Radio Free Europe in which Bolton clearly states that the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was "warm and cordial."

"The president called to congratulate President Zelensky on his election and on his success in the parliamentary election," Bolton said. "They were very warm and cordial calls."

“GAME OVER!” Trump tweeted in the caption above the video.

Take a look:

“Warm and cordial” sounds a lot different than what the impeachment managers were trying to present Bolton’s possible testimony as.

I guess people will say anything when they have a book to sell on the horizon, which reportedly could possibly contain classified information.

Whatever the case may be, Trump seems to be maintaining his confidence that he will remain in the Oval Office.
