Super Bowl of Hypocrisy: Maskless Celebs Party at Big Game

Oh would you look at that. In LA County -- one of the most COVID-restricted counties in America -- dozens of celebrities attended the MEGA SPREADER event that is the Super Bowl and they were – DUNH DUNH DUNNNNNNH – maskless. 

Talk about hypocrisy. 

Of course, we aren’t the mask Karens. I despise the safety blanket culture of the masks and multi-year lockdowns as much as the next Canadian trucker with InfoWars.com bookmarked on his web browser. (God Bless those people by the way, most of ‘em anyway.)  But it is vexing to see all these rich smug celebrities shirk the restriction culture they and the politicians in their blue state hell hole cultivated for the sake of “safety.”

As the latest Super Bowl game, between the Cincinnati Bengals and the L.A. Rams, was held in California’s SoFi Stadium, many Hollywood residents decided to show support for their local neighborhood football team. During the pre-game telecast, one broadcaster decided to cut to a celebrity cam showing all the A-listers who came to the game, featuring stars like J.Lo and Ben Affleck.

What followed was a clip perfectly suited to drawing out the ire of American citizens who have been subjected to lectures on COVID safety from these same people.

Rather than the whole world see these folks and get starry-eyed over how pretty and influential they, a whole contingent of internet users made the video go viral with tweets fuming about how they’re not masking up, when there was a mask policy instituted for the general public at the big game.

Not to mention, L.A. has been one of the most locked down places on planet earth since the start of this pandemic. According to the L.A. Department of Public Health, people 2 years old and up “must wear a mask in all indoor public places and at outdoor Mega Events, whether they have been vaccinated or not.” 

Even school kids in Los Angeles Unified School District now have to wear medical masks to school – per a recent order, cloth masks won’t cut it anymore. 

Even though that’s the common LA citizen’s lot in life right now, Ellen Degeneres, Magic Johnson, and that Chicom bedfellow Lebron James felt it was time to be free of the restrictions during their outing.

The NBC celebrity cam spotted huge stars including rapper Jay-Z, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, actor Andy Garcia, Chris Tucker, Magic Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Sean Penn.

There were zero masks in any of the close ups. 

Other media outlets showed that Ellen Degeneres and even the COVID-nazi mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti were at the game maskless. Wonderful. Conservative influencer Benny Johnson summed up the double standards of these Hollywood and political elites, tweeting that these are the same celebrities who would tell us to “Wear a mask — we are in this together. Stay safe 😷.”

Yeah, “all in this together.” How about Charlize Theron, who once tweeted at the little people to “wear a damn mask.” Mask for thee, not for me.
