Stupid: People Upset with Disneyland's 'Snow White' Ride Because 'Prince Charming' Kisses Her 'Without Her Consent'

People have way too much time on their hands. “Journalists” can’t tell the difference between make-believe and reality anymore to the point that they write entire articles about “problematic” scenes in cartoons that are over 80 years old. There’s a solution to be offended about everything that doesn’t affect people in the slightest — don’t watch the show or movie and don’t participate in said offensive activity if it irrationally bothers you that much.

A couple of “woke” women at the San Francisco Gate (SF Gate) wrote a piece about how wonderful the revamped Snow White’s Enchanted Wish ride at the recently reopened Disneyland in California is, but provided a caveat that they say was the 1938 movie’s and now the ride “biggest problem.”

“The new grand finale of Snow White's Enchanted Wish is the moment when the Prince finds Snow White asleep under the Evil Queen's spell and gives her "true love's kiss" to release her from the enchantment,” the two writers who shall remain nameless opined. “A kiss he gives to her without her consent, while she's asleep, which cannot possibly be true love if only one person knows it's happening.”

It’s a fictional fairytale, you morons! It’s way past time to stop pretending that stupid things people say is cute or worth a second thought. It’s not cute, and it's not "thought-provoking." It’s stupid, and we need to begin calling it for what it is — stupid.

The writers kind of doubled-back a bit and advised people to enjoy the ride “as a fairy tale, not a life lesson.”

Yeah, that’s how you’re supposed to view old school Disney movies. Sure there might be some “life lessons” in the movies, but take common sense and logic into account.

“It's hard to understand why the Disneyland of 2021 would choose to add a scene with such old fashioned ideas of what a man is allowed to do to a woman, especially given the company's current emphasis on removing problematic scenes from rides like Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain,” the writers added before of course asking whether Disney should just change history, like so much of the left likes to do. “Why not re-imagine an ending in keeping with the spirit of the movie and Snow White's place in the Disney canon, but that avoids this problem?”

You know why? Because “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” already exists and people love it, so stop trying to change everything to be completely sterile of anything that could possibly be construed by idiots as “problematic.”

Stop letting entertainment parent your children and do it yourself. If you don’t like something in a movie, let your kid know that it’s just make-believe. End of story.

It’s not difficult, people.
