There’s a fine line between hypocrisy and utter stupidity. And honestly, I’m not sure which side of that fence this particular liberal falls on.

Her name is Nicole Sanchez (or "Neekolul," per her online moniker) and she’s a social media “influencer” who got famous on TikTok and Twitter after posting a video of herself dancing and lip-syncing while wearing a Bernie Sanders campaign shirt. The short video, called “OK Boomer,” went ultra-viral and was apparently viewed millions of times on social media. (I say apparently because I didn’t see it, only watched it today because I’m writing this, and honestly still don’t give a crap. It’s a really, really, really stupid 15-second video.)

Oh! I almost forgot. Sanchez then posted the same clip, but this time wearing a “Tax the Rich” sweatshirt from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign (the one that was selling for $58 - yeah, that one).

But such Internet fame made Sanchez a household name in…well, some circles, I guess. And it's also made her very, very rich.

So rich, in fact, that she was able to run out about buy an apartment worth $2 million. She then had the complete lack of sense to give a virtual tour of said mega-bucks crib and post it online….to the same account where she’d previously praised socialist policies and decried wealthy people.

And, naturally, a lot of people were confused. And irritated.

“Socialists and communists will always redefine what ‘rich’ is, once they acquire the amount of wealth they once deemed as ‘too much.’ Bernie did it, and now you’ve done it. It always happens,” one person mocked on Twitter.

“They’re always socialist until it’s their money and not someone else’s,” someone else posted.

Now, Sanchez is defending herself – and her $2 million home – calling her critics "rude" and saying that when she says “tax the rich,” what she really means are “like, billionaires,” and not simply people wealthy enough to plunk down a couple million for luxury digs. You know, like her.

“I had my stance on views and politics when I first put the first OK Boomer Tiktok. And even like, whatever I’m making now, compared to then, I would see if people would be upset if I didn’t have those views anymore,” Sanchez said in a recent video where she talked about just how much money she’s made from being web-famous.

“All I’m doing is standing by the beliefs I started off with, and I’m here. Whether I’m making this money or not, I just feel like it’s not something to be rude about. Because there’s nothing to be rude about,” Sanchez whined. “I think when people mean like, ‘Tax the rich,’ I think at the end of the day they do mean, like, billionaires and people who have insane, unfathomable amounts of wealth.”

A statement eerily reminiscient of Sanchez’s icon, Sen. Bernie Sanders, a wealthy lawmaker who owns three homes and who switched from condemning “millionaires” to slamming “billionaires” after he himself achieved millionaire status.
