Sen. Ron Johnson started off the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on election security with a slam on how the media treated Hunter Biden’s business connections with China.

“Senator (Chuck) Grassley’s and my investigation and report on the conflicts of interest in foreign financial entanglements of the Biden family is just one example of how media suppression can and does affect the outcome of an election. It is both amazing and galling that all of a sudden post-election, this has become a news story and a scandal worthy of investigation,” Johnson said Wednesday.

Johnson made a point to note that the American public is skeptical about the 2020 election results and says it started with Democratic efforts.

“It starts with today's climate of hyper-partisanship, which is only exacerbated by the persistent efforts to delegitimize the results of the 2016 election, the corrupt investigation, the media coverage of the Russian collusion hoax, reduce faith in our institutions. And the ongoing suppression and censorship of conservative perspective by biased media and social media adds fuel to the flames.

A Media Research Center study shows that Biden voters (45.1%) said they were unaware of the financial scandal enveloping Biden and his son, Hunter (a story infamously censored by Twitter and Facebook, as well as ignored by the liberal media). According to the poll, full awareness of the Hunter Biden scandal would have led 9.4% of Biden voters to abandon the Democratic candidate, flipping all six of the swing states he won to Trump, giving the President 311 electoral votes.
