It's getting harder an harder to recognize satire these days, especially as more and more Democrats begin to adopt utterly asinine catch-phrases - which would once have been immediately dubbed ridiculous - to push actual policy proposals.
New York Democrat Rep. Mondaire Jones – no, you’ve probably never heard of him, but he actually sits in Congress and casts votes that could affect people’s lives so there’s that – tweeted Thursday that “Supreme Court expansion is infrastructure,” providing conservative Twitter with no end of amusement while also showing just how ridiculous and off-the-rails congressional Democrats have gone to justify all their terrible policies.
In a series of posts in support of court-packing, Jones, who’s been a big part of Democrats’ new push to expand the Supreme Court from nine seats to 13 in order to cement a liberal majority on the bench, blasted out:

For those of you who aren’t on Twitter (seriously, save yourselves, it’s too late for the rest of us), Jones’ tweet adds to a growing pile of hilarious tweets by Democrats – and many by the conservatives mocking them – labeling any and every progressive policy they can think of as “infratstructure.”
It all started when Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand tweeted out this little nugget: “Paid leave is infrastructure. Child care is infrastructure. Caregiving is infrastructure.”
Which, naturally, left the New York Democrat wide open to mockery from social media users who pointed out that “infrastructure,” a term commonly used to describe tangible things like roads, bridges and airports, isn’t a catch-all word for anything you think people should have.

But now, apparently, intentionally growing the Supreme Court to load it up with liberal judges also counts as “infrastructure,” right up there with fixing potholes and making sure bridges don’t fall into the river.
Then again, New York Rep. Jerry Nadler said Thursday that court-packing is necessary "to rectify the great injustice that was done in packing the court." So perhaps common sense and basic logic isn't high on Democrats' priority list.
And thankfully, based on the current make-up of our federal legislature, packing the court isn't high on the Senate's.
