Well that didn’t take long.

The attorney for 17-year-old alleged Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse told Fox News on Wednesday that he will indeed file a lawsuit against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his campaign just hours after Biden posted a video on his Twitter account alleging that President Donald Trump “refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage [Tuesday] night.”

Attorney L. Lin Wood, the same attorney who has filed multiple defamation lawsuits on behalf of now-former Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann, announced his intention to sue Biden and his campaign Wednesday on Twitter.

“On behalf of Kyle Rittenhouse, I shall sue @JoeBiden & Biden/Harris Campaign for libel,” Wood wrote in his tweet.

The Biden video in question appeared to show Rittenhouse while audio of Fox News debate moderator Chris Wallace pinned the violent in places like Kenosha, Wisc. and Portland, Ore. on white supremacist groups and not on its primary perpetrators, radical far-left terrorist group Antifa and the Marxist Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization.

Here’s the video:

“He falsely accused a 17-year-old boy & prejudiced Kyle’s legal rights,” Wood said in another tweet.

As Fox News noted, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) told CBS News back in August that they combed through Rittenhouse’s “social media footprint” and “found no indication…that he is connected to any extremist movements.”
