Rush Limbaugh: Trump Methods of Attacking Cruz 'A Mistake'

On Monday, syndicated radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh asserted that the recent attacks by 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donal Trump on fellow hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) could be a mistake that could cost Trump.

Limbaugh pointed out that, at an appearance in South Carolina last weekend, Trump got booed following his attacks on Cruz during last Thursday's GOP debate. He also noted the upswing in negative reaction to Trump, and the possible reasons for the new-found animus that some have towards Trump:

 

 

After that, Limbaugh talked about a Tea Party Convention in which Trump got booed and became defiant:

 

 

Limbaugh then stated Trumps' method of attacking Cruz is a mistake, and that there is a specific reason for this that raises a "huge red flag" for Limbaugh:

 

 

Limbaugh also examined the opposite side of the coin, where Trump might not lose support, and examined the perceived criticisms of Cruz:
