Much like with the application of his case against Kyle Rittenhouse, Kenosha Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger’s firearm discipline is ignorant at best.

During Monday’s closing arguments, Binger attempted to display how he thinks Rittenhouse handled his AR-15 during the Jacob Blake riots on August 25, 2020.

The only problem is that many people, particularly on Twitter, immediately noticed how Binger himself was brandishing the firearm.

If you know absolutely anything about firearm safety, you know that placing your finger on the trigger without the intent of firing is a big no-no. That’s number one. Number two is that Binger reportedly was pointing the firearm at the jury, which is another huge violation in firearm etiquette. You never point a firearm, loaded or not, at any living thing unless you’re about to discharge the weapon.

Binger has bungled many parts of this case and has, at times, even provided the defense team with arguments that helped Rittenhouse’s case.
