Herschel Walker, retired NFL football player, tweeted Wednesday that he’s interested in meeting with airlines to discuss sending those protesting to defund the police to countries with no police.

“I have an idea… For all these people who don’t want any police, I’d love to meet with American Airlines, Delta, and Southwest and make a deal to fly them to countries that don’t have police,” Walker suggests, adding that he “want[s] them to be happy!”

Walker also tweeted earlier this week criticizing Congress’ inability to “get together” and find solutions. Walker said that he is “volunteering [him]self as one of the black leaders” calling on “true congressmen/women to get together with leaders from all ethnic groups, both left and right”.

In May, President Trump thanked Walker for his comments on Twitter after criticizing Joe Biden for suggesting that if you do not vote for him, then “you ain’t black." Walker responded by saying, “You don’t determine who we vote for.”

Walker, 58, played for the University of George in college and went on to play for the Minnesota Vikings in 1989.
