He now sits there completely Schiff-faced on television when talking about Trump and N. Korea.

Well okay, Rep. Adam Schiff  (D-Calif.) has always been Schiff-faced (obviously), but he has recently shifted his opinion on President Trump’s efforts towards peace in that region.

Schiff admitted on Sunday that President Trump can be credited in part for the progress toward peace in the region. Telling ABC’s This Week the president had indeed played a role in the peace process.

“I think it’s more than fair to say that the combination of the president’s unpredictability and indeed, his bellicosity had something to do with the North Koreans deciding to come to the table,” Schiff said in a backhanded compliment to Trump.

Schiff’s tone on the matter is different from previous interviews on the subject. Schiff has historically been nothing but critical and negative on President Trump’s response to heightened tensions in the region.

“Unfortunately this president is acting like he’s still doing reality tv, he’s teasing the next episode so we’ll tune in and find out whether were going to be at war or not,” Schiff told MSNBC late in 2017.
