Yes, as shocked as you may be (I’m even a little surprised myself), this is my second Ruth Bader Ginsburg article today -- and yes, it is again positive. I can’t help it that I’m a sucker for bipartisanship.

At an event hosted by Duke Law on Wednesday, Ginsburg continued, not only her defense as the Supreme Court as an institution, but of her newest, Trump-appointed peers.

"My two newest colleagues are very decent, very smart individuals," RBG said of Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.

According to a report by the National Review on Ginsburg’s comments:

She expressed delight over the fact that she had assigned two opinions to Gorsuch and one to Kavanaugh during the last term, something she was only able to do only because the two justices senior to her on the court (Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Thomas) were in the minority.

While many on the right would decry much of RBG’s judicial philosophy, it is heartening to see both sides of the spectrum coming together to defend each other from malicious attributions of motive and baseless smears.
