Pro-Life Rally Held to Stop Abortion Extremism in Virginia

1.5k views

Pro-lifers gathered in Lorton, Va. Saturday to protest the “abortion extremism” of Virginia Democrats.

Originally, the event was to be held outside a town hall meeting with Delegate Kathy Tran, who recently backed a bill that would have allowed abortions on women already in labor.

Tran cancelled her scheduled town hall event, citing “security and safety concerns.”

Governor Ralph Northam, defended Tran’s bill by saying it would also allow doctors to refuse to resuscitate an infant born alive after a failed abortion if that’s what the mother desired.

Hundreds gathered at the event organized by the Susan B. Anthony List Students For Life, Live Action, Virginia Society for Human Life and Concerned Women For America.
