So much for tolerance.

Pro-life flyers posted around American University by the College Republicans Wednesday were up for a grand total of about two hours before being torn down by an anonymous pro-abortion group. The pro-life students had put the flyers up as part of the #WomenBetrayed National Day of Student Action, a national movement calling for the defunding of Planned Parenthood over the organization's alleged illegal sale of body parts from aborted babies.

Students for Life, a collection of pro-life college students from across the nation, reports the flyers were posted last night only to be immediately ripped down by a group calling themselves the “AU Justice League.” Apparently this group didn’t take too kindly to the flyers, which sported messages like: "We don't need Planned Parenthood" and "#DefundPP."

After tearing down the flyers, the AU Justice League tweeted a photo of the crumpled papers lying on a bed, along with a particularly rude one-finger salute and a message:

AU Justice League

The feud then erupted into a Twitter war (check it out, from Campus Reform).

#Tolerance.

Update:

American University released the following statement Thursday condemning the vandalism of pro-life flyers:

American University works closely with student groups representing varied political and cultural beliefs and encourages all students to follow university protocol when disseminating information and to respect each others views. There is no group named the AU Justice League that is registered at American University and AU does not approve of the behavior that was displayed regarding the recent removal of pro-life flyers that were posted around campus.

School officials also noted that the AU Justice League is not an official recognized club at the university, and that the group's Twitter account is no longer active.
