Despite Democrats' repeated claims that President Trump is "stealing" a SCOTUS seat, the number of voters who say the U.S. Senate should vote to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court continues to rise as the Senate heads into day three of hyper-partisan hearings over the Trump nominee.

According to a Morning Consult/Politico poll conducted between Oct. 9-11, a full 48 percent of voters said Barrett should be confirmed to the Supreme Court, up two percentage points from last week. Those who support her confirmation include 77 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of Democrats, all of whom say Barrett should be confirmed regardless of who wins the presidential election in November.

Conversely, only 35 percent of voters said the Senate should reject her nomination. And notably, only 59 percent – a majority, but not by much – of Democrats say the Senate should delay voting on a SCOTUS nominee until after the election.

In fact, voter support for Barrett’s confirmation has risen 11 percentage points since Trump first announced she was his pick to fill the seat left vacant after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
