According to the latest Rasmussen poll, only 32 percent of Americans think Hillary Clinton won the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination fair and square.

Even Democrats (27%) question whether Clinton achieved the nomination over her opponent Bernie Sanders without foul play.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of Democrats believe the former secretary of state won the nomination fairly, while 19% poll undecided.

The poll also found that 47 percent of American voters believe the Democrats’ electoral system was rigged against Sanders. Twenty-one percent (21%) report unsure.

Voters view Sanders as far more ethical than Clinton. Forty-two percent (42%) say Clinton is less ethical than most politicians, while a whopping 18 percent think she is more ethical.

Only 11 percent of voters see Sanders as less ethical than most other politicians, while 38 percent say he is more ethical.

The poll results come after former interim DNC chair Donna Brazile revealed what many suspected all along: that the Democratic primary election was rigged.

Brazile in her new tell-all book "Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House" claims that the Clinton campaign had cut an unfair fundraising deal with the DNC that gave her much control over its operations and disadvantaged Sanders.

The excerpt reads:

I had tried to search out any other evidence of internal corruption that would show that the DNC was rigging the system to throw the primary to Hillary, but I could not find any in party affairs or among the staff. I had gone department by department, investigating individual conduct for evidence of skewed decisions, and I was happy to see that I had found none.

Then I found this agreement.

Brazile goes on to call the fundraising deal "unethical" and compromising to her "party's integrity."

She is now attempting to walk back her remarks, claiming that the 2016 primary between Clinton and Sanders was a fair fight.

Brazile in media interviews this week baffled TV hosts by saying that her own words were somehow taken out of context, MRCTV reported.
