If you’re already naked, does it really matter if you wear a mask? Apparently so, if you’re the organizers of Philadelphia annual Naked Bike Ride.
After the event was cancelled in 2020 because of the Chinese coronavirus, people will be letting it all hang out — sometimes a little too much — with the return of the Philly Naked (with a mask!) Bike Ride.
According to the event’s website, their latest post shows only a flyer for this year’s ride with a message at the top describing what the purpose of the event (Note: We can't really show you the full poster here, but click the website link if you absolutely must. Hey, maybe you'll get a chuckle out of it).
"A FREE, no-registration-required ride, with thousands of naked (or bare as they dare) cyclists, riding together to promote fuel conscious consumption, positive body image, mutual aid, and cycling advocacy!" the flyer read.
Listen, I don’t care how “tolerant” you are, some people should never be naked in public. Self-awareness is a lost quality in a lot of people these days, and events like this just magnify the lack of it for some.
