While many Americans still aren't huge fans of how Donald Trump conducts himself, more and more seem to be getting onboard with his policies.

According to a recent Pew Research survey, the percentage of Americans that say they agree with Trump on “all or most issues” rose from 33 percent last August to 41 percent in May. Though a larger 57 percent say they disagree with Trump on just about everything, that’s still a pretty hefty jump in just half a year.

From Pew:

The latest national survey by Pew Research Center, conducted April 25-May 1 among 1,503 adults, finds that 80% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents now say they agree with Trump on many or all issues, up from 69% in August. And while just 12% of Democrats and Democratic leaners say the same today, the share of Democrats who say there are “no or almost no” issues where they align with Trump has dropped from 77% to 58%.

What’s more, the percentage of Democrats who say they agree with Trump on all or most issues – while still fairly nominal – doubled from six to 12 percent in the last eight months.

But while more and more Americans say they agree with Trump on many policy issues, the president's penchant for tweeting goofy stuff and finding himself in the middle of media-hyped scandals with porn stars seem to rub most people the wrong way. A full 80 percent of Americans – including 95 percent of Democrats and 61 percent of Republicans - say they either don’t like or have “mixed feelings about” the president’s personal behavior.

According to Pew’s data, a slight majority of Americans say they’re pretty confident Trump can make good deals with other nations and execute strong economic policy. When it comes to thinks like immigration, wise use of military force and working effectively with Congress, not so much.
