Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told a gathering of Parkland students and members of Moms Demand Action that she admired their approach to gun control, “with an urgency that something must be done soon - no more procedure.”
Pelosi said the issue of gun control would be at the top of the Democratic agenda, if they take control of the House in the mid-terms.
“I admire you so much,” Pelosi said. “You have the purpose, the generosity of spirit. You have the marchers. You have people who will go out there to make a difference. And you just have a relentless, persistent, dissatisfied approach, with an urgency that something must be done soon - no more procedure.”
Pelosi was with Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.) at the event at Coral Springs City Hall with gun control activists on Wednesday.
