Despite the news headlines, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claims President Trump hasn't been acquitted in the Senate impeachment trial.

Pelosi told CNN Monday, “You can’t have a an acquittal without a trial, and you can’t have a trial without witnesses and documents. So he can say he’s acquitted and the headlines can say acquitted, but he is impeached forever, branded with that, and not vindicated.”

The Speaker went on to lay a stern criticism on the GOP senators who voted in favor of acquittal, saying they “didn't have the courage” to do what was right, "Except Mitt Romney, God bless him.”
