When Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) gets excited she tends to say the wrong things, election night was no exception.
In her excitement about being poised to regain her former position as Speaker of the House following Tuesday night’s Democratic election victories for several House candidates, she started to ramble.
“Today is more than about Democrats and Republicans, it’s about restoring the Constitution’s checks and balances to the Trump administration,” She told a crowd in Washington, D.C.
“It’s about stopping the GOP and Mitch McConnell’s assaults on Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and the health care of 130 million Americans living with pre-existing medical conditions.
“Let’s hear it more for pre-existing medical conditions!” she said pumping her fist.
And the Democratic crowed cheered in response.
Okay Nancy, I understand you’re excited about the possible government control of healthcare, but cheering pre-existing conditions? Really?
