Seriously, kids?! You better get over to “Papaw’s” and eat the burger he made for you!

The tweet heard ‘round the Twitter world last week is getting a happy ending. People all across the Twittersphere are talking about going to visit Kenneth “Papaw” Harmon so that they can eat the burgers he’s cooking.

Harmon’s granddaughter, Kelsey Harmon, tweeted last week about how her “Papaw” cooked a bunch of burgers for all the grandkids and she was the only one to show up. The picture that came along with the tweet showed “Papaw” distraught about the lack of burger-eating going on.

The post was retweeted 70,000 times within the first 24 hours.

“Papaw” and his family have released some good news coming on the burger horizon. “Papaw’s” grandson, Brock Harmon, tweeted out the news that his grandfather is going to cook some burgers for everyone…and he means everyone!

BuzzFeed News reported:

Though some news outlets reported the proceeds would go toward the grandkids’ college educations and charities, Harmon told BuzzFeed News that all the proceeds were going to Pawpaw and “what he decides to do with them is his business.

People from all over the country are responding on Twitter, and all they want is a burger made by "Papaw."

As far as his grandkids go, “Papaw” is giving them the benefit of the doubt. He told Inside Edition, “Everyone was invited, but that is not the way it turned out. Some of the grandkids say they didn't know about it."

Whatever the case may be, your “Papaw” didn’t work over a hot grill all day just for you not to show up. You get your behind over there right now and eat that burger!
